Of the seven realms of Soul Rings, the first three were quite simple for Ye Chen. Three days outside were three hundred days in the Time Pagoda, and Ye Chen reached the Yellow Soul Ring realm.
Outside the Soul Sea, three Soul Rings of different colors guarded it: a Red Soul Ring, an Orange Soul Ring, and a Yellow Soul Ring. They looked exquisitely beautiful.
However, in terms of Soul Force defense alone, the Yellow Soul Ring realm was only slightly stronger than Primordial Spirit Immortality—not by much.
These three realms were meant to lay the foundation.
At the fourth realm, the Green Soul Ring realm, the difficulty began to rise.
One week outside, seven hundred days in the Time Pagoda, and a fourth Soul Ring, the Green Soul Ring, was born outside the Soul Sea.
The Red Soul Ring, Orange Soul Ring, and Yellow Soul Ring were similar in color. The Green Soul Ring, however, looked crystal-clear, emerald-green and flawless, as though it had condensed from the purest green radiance. It possessed a cleansing effect. When the Green Soul Ring was born, Ye Chen vaguely felt that his soul had become much safer. If the Red, Orange, and Yellow Soul Rings were for laying a foundation, then the Green Soul Ring was truly for defense. It could cleanse all foreign Soul Force, reducing damage to its freezing point.
Next came the Azure Soul Ring.
This realm took Ye Chen a full month—three thousand days in the Time Pagoda.
The Azure Soul Ring's radiance was far more vast and surging. Dense azure light enveloped all four preceding Soul Rings. On close inspection, the Azure Soul Ring was composed of countless tiny azure runes, and the essence of those azure runes was Soul Force. This wondrous method of arranging Soul Force
