Uploaded on August 12, 2011, and ended on November 29, 2014. After three years, three months, and seventeen days, Supreme Sword Path has come to an end.
I still remember when I first started writing Supreme Sword Path. Tai Xu really and truly was a rookie. No outline, twenty thousand characters of saved draft—I just uploaded it like that. Back then, I had no concept at all of several million characters, nor any concept of where the plot would go. Basically, I wrote wherever the writing took me. At the time, I actually planned to write one or two million characters, just to practice my hand. I never expected the spread to grow wider and wider later on. Mainly, the results also got better, so I couldn't bear to give it up.
Before two or three million characters—as for exactly how many, Tai Xu himself isn't too clear either—Tai Xu wrote with a lot of hot blood, and the updates back then weren't too bad, because there was passion every day. But as many people have said, after leaving True Spirit Continent, Tai Xu lost a bit of control over the plot. Later on, Tai Xu regretted writing the race war. This wasn't something I was good at. A race war meant the protagonist had to put the interests of the human race first, so there was much less conflict, much less exciting plot. Everything was preparing for the race war. Tai Xu wrote with his hands tied and feet bound, his passion wearing away day by day, feeling as if he had sunk into a muddy swamp and couldn't pull himself free.
Everyone has their own strong points. Tai Xu believes he isn't suited to writing grand scenes; I can't keep them under control.
