First Level of the Life and Death Threshold

"I know him. He's Duan Lang, ranked thirteenth on the Life and Death Realm Candidate List. Among the members of the Life and Death Realm Candidate List, he loves doing things that hurt others without benefiting himself. When the Life and Death Secret Realm opened last time, quite a few people suffered at his hands and wasted a great deal of time."

The speaker was a young man who looked to be in his thirties, though his real age was likely close to fifty. Presumably, he had entered the Life and Death Secret Realm when it last opened and had either suffered at Duan Lang's hands himself or seen others suffer.

"Duan Lang is too sinister. His cultivation has reached the second level of the Life and Death Threshold, so why is he making trouble for us? How despicable."
