"A supply crate!"
Every member of the Forest Wolf Regiment immediately spotted the supply crate floating on the lake.
Li Da frowned slightly and glanced around warily.
Then, there was this small lake nestled in a depression.
It was indeed relatively secluded. In theory, it made sense for an undiscovered supply crate to be somewhere like this.
At that thought, Li Da relaxed slightly.
Never mind all the other assorted items in those supply crates-even energy recovery potions, the most commonplace supplies of all, could often be lifesaving treasures.
They might not need them now, but who could say what would happen later?
Still, after a moment's thought, Li Da said,
"Don't go out onto the water. Dazhuang..."
At Li Da's command, Dazhuang willed a woody branch to grow instantly from the shore. It stretched straight toward the supply crate in the lake.
Very soon, however, Li Da frowned.
From what he could see, the supply crate was not far away, only twenty-odd meters. Dazhuang's branch could easily retrieve it.
Yet as the branch extended, it failed to touch the supply crate right away. Instead, the crate seemed to be slowly shifting backward in his field of vision. It was deeply strange.
Almost immediately, Li Da realized what was happening and shouted,
"Watch out! It's an ambush!"
At the same moment, towering waves erupted across the previously tranquil little lake.
An enormous, seemingly transparent figure appeared amid the water. Before Li Da had time to think further, the erupting spray and mist instantly condensed, spinning in the mouth of that illusory, transparent figure before blasting out!

The spinning, compressed water cannon ignored the Ten Thousand Woods Wolf on the shore and hurtled straight at the Beast Tamers!
There was not just one!
There were five of them!
