After examining the other pirates’ pasts, he released them from the illusion, subdued them with his Soul Power, and told them he had given them a chance instead of killing them immediately.

• Zi Zhenzhu’s parents tried to flee with her, but the Noble Lord’s thugs caught up and killed them while she escaped.
• A pirate leader rescued Zi Zhenzhu, adopted her, and brought her to the Endless Sea, where she learned to be a pirate.
