Hunting abroad?
Li Long was genuinely tempted by Liu Shanmin's suggestion.
For one thing, although he had been visiting several different places lately, Li Long could clearly feel that game had grown much scarcer here. Neither Mongolian gazelles nor wild boars were as common as they had been in the first two years.
Hunting them was difficult.
For another, after buying so many hides and antelope horns from Liu Gaolou on these recent occasions, Li Long had gained a rough understanding of the situation over there.
The land was vast and sparsely populated, with sweeping grasslands and abundant wildlife. People hunted by driving off-road vehicles after herds of game and shooting.
Even bears, which were extremely rare here, were easy to encounter and hunt in the Heavenly Mountain region over there.
The Wildlife Protection Law had taken effect. Although it would take some time to become widely known in Northern Xinjiang, Li Long knew that hunting those wild animals here was actually already illegal.
Over there, however, he would not have to worry about that. Hunting to his heart's content would be no problem.
"Is the paperwork for going over easy to arrange?" Li Long asked uncertainly. "With the current situation..."
"It isn't easy, but it isn't as difficult as you imagine either," Liu Shanmin said with a smile. "Besides, I have a certain amount of authority. Getting you an identity and arranging the paperwork won't be a problem."
"Then that really could work!" Li Long smiled. "It isn't dangerous over there right now, is it?"
Most of the news Li Long had heard about the place was negative, so he was still somewhat worried.
"You can rest easy about that. It's corrupt over there, and there's some shady business, but overall, things are still all right at the moment.
