"Hey, I went around the canal again today. There really are a lot of shrimp in those pools!"

"What? Snails? How come I didn't see any?" Li Andong was surprised. "Oh! There really are quite a few!"

"There are shrimp, crabs, snails, and plenty of fish in Little Haizi," Li Junfeng said. "Uncle Xiao Long brought the Shrimp Fry and crab fry over from Inland China a couple of years ago. The snails probably came along with them."

"Did you get these over at the reservoir? I'll find some time to take a look too-" Seeing such a haul in the courtyard, Li Andong suddenly found the few river shrimp in his own bucket much less appealing.

"These shrimp are good too," Li Long said with a smile. "It's only these last couple of years that we've seen live shrimp in the Fourth Team. Lots of the children have never seen them alive. When Juan and Qiangqiang come back, they can have a look, and get some nourishment too."

"Good, good. I'll leave them here, then," Li Andong said with a smile. "I don't have much else to do. I check the canal every day, so I can catch some more."
