There was no hiding the fact that the Purchasing Station had cars. The resellers knew better than anyone how to spread the news. They also used it to show off their connections and how well-informed they were.
So in early November, in just five days, seven of the cars newly delivered to Li Long, including the two new ones, quickly sold.
Chen Yan alone brokered the sale of two and drove them away, one luxury Mercedes-Benz and one ordinary Mercedes-Benz.
Clearly, this woman was living with greater and greater flair. She had her hair permed into big waves, yet it did not look tacky.
And there was an obvious difference when she brought customers again: she no longer needed to go to such lengths to flatter them as she had before. She already had an attitude of, "I'm the only one who has them. Buy one or don't."

They did not care how much she could knock off the price, either.
There were not many cars left, but Li Long was in no hurry. Liu Gaolou would come again after a while anyway. Having cars now showed that the Purchasing Station's supply chain had not been broken, so customers would keep coming.
His only slight regret was that he had originally planned to keep one of the two new Luxury Volgas for his wife, Gu Xiaoxia. Gu Xiaoxia had refused at the time, and the very next day, someone from a trading company in Wu City had come and taken both cars at once.
