Harimu pointed at the liquor Li Long had brought and said:
"Some of our people really like this stuff, but it really does people harm."
Li Long was still a little puzzled. In his previous life, he hadn't had much contact with the Kazakh people.
"Some of our young men look very honest normally. They work hard and aren't very bold, either. But once they drink, their personalities change completely. They even dare to stab people with knives-so you absolutely can't give them any liquor. Everything else is fine."
Li Long broke out in a cold sweat. He had almost made a terrible mistake!
He quickly put all the liquor away, then said to Harimu:
"I'll leave the liquor with you for now. Oh, right, what else does everyone need? I'll go buy some more things. You'll be leaving for the Summer Pasture soon. If there's anything you need, I'll buy it all together and bring it over. Once you're at the Summer Pasture deep in the mountains, buying things won't be easy."
Harimu didn't stand on ceremony with Li Long.
"Grain. We need more grain. We have about enough salt and brick tea, but we still need some rope, saws, wire, and other tools..."
Harimu spoke as he thought, and Li Long noted everything down.
Once Harimu finished, Li Long abandoned his original plan to visit the place where Jade Mountain River and the others were working. He prepared to head straight back to buy more supplies.
"Li Long, after the snow melted, we picked up some more deer antlers and Roe Deer antlers. Take them with you and sell them to buy the supplies. We're building you a Winter Camp because we see you as a friend. You've helped us so much. It's something we ought to do.
