By the time Li Long and the other two returned home carrying the rabbits, Liang Yuemei had finished cooking and set everything on the table, waiting for them.

Li Jianguo had sobered up too. After washing up, he was waiting for them in the yard.

"Big brother, is your head still spinning?" Li Long asked with a grin, holding the sack.

Li Jianguo had been happy yesterday and drunk a bottle and a half of Gucheng Daqu, each bottle holding half a kilogram. He had enjoyed himself while drinking, but after seeing everyone off, he had become dizzy and slept from yesterday afternoon until this morning.

"Not anymore." Li Jianguo blushed, a rare sight, and changed the subject. "How many rabbits did you catch?"

"Five!" Li Qiang shouted. "Dad, five rabbits! Two are alive. One tried to kick Uncle, but Uncle slammed it onto the ground and killed it! I saw it myself!"

"Good, good. Go wash your hands and get ready to eat." Li Jianguo now felt that sending his younger brother to work in Wu City had been a truly wise decision. Although he had been fired after going there, the brother who returned seemed like a completely new man. Not only could he do all sorts of things, but his personality had changed too. He was much more mature.

After breakfast, Li Jianguo and Li Long butchered the rabbits together. As he skinned them, Li Jianguo asked:

"Long, how about taking it easy for a few days? Tao Dayong and Gu Ermao were both arrested. They were released, but besides the embarrassment, they had to pay fines. We can't end up in there!"

"Don't worry, brother. I'm not going to sell things at the Black Market anymore. There aren't enough buyers there." Li Long explained his plans.
