After getting the news from Li Long, Xu Haijun returned to the Xu family banquet without mentioning it. After Xu Jianjun's fuss, though, the family could no longer keep drinking.
After all, apart from him, everyone had benefited from the Li Family to some extent. Xu Dejun and Xu Haijun had woven Taibazi, and Xu Chengjun went without saying: he had received Watermelon Seeds outright, planted twenty mu, and sold the harvest, becoming one of the few people on the Team to buy a Tractor.
Even Xu Jianjun himself had woven Taibazi with Li Long. It was just that he refused to accept it, which had led to the current problem.
No one felt comfortable criticizing him openly, but listening to him list the Li Family's faults made the drinking awkward. In the end, Xu Chengjun could take no more and drove him away.

There was no hiding it, so Xu Haijun told him Li Long's idea, then shared his own thoughts. "I think it's worth a try. There's still some time before planting, and it'll take another ten days or so for the snow to melt. We might as well go and have a look.
