Li Long had come to see Li Xiangqian mainly about transporting the Taibazi.
Because he had to renovate the winter camps for the pastoralists this year, Li Long had left the Taibazi weaving to Xie Yundong and the others and barely concerned himself with it afterward.
Even the inspections, acceptance checks, and counting had been handled by people sent by the Supply and Marketing Cooperative.
He had merely arranged vehicles twice to collect the finished Taibazi after inspection, without accompanying either trip himself.
Now the winter camp renovations were complete, and the Taibazi weaving was nearing its end too. Nearly three thousand had been brought back on the previous two trips. Thirty people at two sites could weave over a hundred a day, so from the last collection, they could finish the remaining Taibazi in less than ten days.
Once this batch was finished, Li Long would no longer need to concern himself with the work.
Of course, he still had to settle everyone's accounts afterward.
With over a thousand Taibazi remaining, Li Long wanted to collect them all in one trip and bring the people back from the mountains too. That was why he wanted to arrange things with Li Xiangqian two days in advance and have two extra vehicles sent.
"No problem. Give me a definite time, and I'll have the transport section arrange the vehicles beforehand." Li Xiangqian certainly supported this. "This isn't just your business. It's a major task for our cooperative too. Once this last load comes back, both you and the cooperative can breathe a sigh of relief."
"Then I'll go into the mountains tomorrow," Li Long said. "I'll count what's there and work out roughly when they'll have enough Taibazi. Once I get back, I can confirm the exact collection time."
"All right."
