Upon entering the hall, he found a young man lounging diagonally on an oversized daybed with his legs crossed, an otherworldly version of the Ge You slouch.
The little tea table beside the daybed was piled with exquisite fruit, pastries, and tea snacks.
Four beautiful young maidservants stood beside him, attending to him. With that display and those airs, he was like a carefree prince.
Tang Wen was taken aback. This fellow was not old at all. He looked only twenty-seven or twenty-eight.

"Greetings, Count," Tang Wen said.
"Hahaha, you're even younger than I am, and already a First-Rank Earl. How interesting, how interesting." Xiao Gai smiled and pointed to the other side of the daybed. "Come, come, join me. Let's have something to eat."
Tang Wen smiled, nodded, and sat properly on the daybed, while Luo Yiwu and Gu Hanyan stood respectfully behind him on either side, ready to attend to him.
"Say, Count Tang, how did you develop a taste for this sort? Your tastes are completely different from mine." Xiao Gai glanced at Gu Hanyan and smiled.
"What sort?" Tang Wen looked at him in bewilderment.
"Look at my maids. I wouldn't say they could shame the moon and flowers, but every one of them is presentable and pretty," Xiao Gai said smugly.
"Oh, you mean my maid, Gu Hanyan? She's just an old serving woman." Tang Wen deliberately glanced at Gu Hanyan and smiled, making her so angry that her face twisted.
"You grew up drinking her milk? She's your wet nurse?" Xiao Gai blurted out in surprise.
Tang Wen nearly sprayed out the tea in his mouth, while Luo Yiwu struggled painfully to hold back his laughter.
"I'm not his wet nurse.
