"You know me?" Taken aback, Tang Wen looked at the woman.
"I originally came to arrest you and take you back. It seems I can't arrest you now," the woman said.
"Arrest me? Are you from the authorities?" Tang Wen asked.
"My lady is the hall master of Blood Slaughter Hall in Sea Saint City," the maid declared with an imposing air.
"I've never even been to Sea Saint City. Why would you arrest me? Did Ridge-Sea Academy send you?" Tang Wen's face darkened as he asked.
"I don't know Ridge-Sea Academy." The woman shook her head and said, "Since I can't arrest you, I'll share a meal with you."
With that, the woman plopped down in a seat.
"May I ask your name?" Tang Wen called for the waiter to bring another pair of chopsticks, then took a sip of wine before asking.
"Feng Jiuxue!" the woman said.
"The Feng Family of Sea Saint City-a descendant of Feng Jianwu, then?" Mei Niansu spoke up.
"He's my great-grandfather," Feng Jiuxue said.
"I've long admired your family. The Feng Family is a prominent clan in Sea Saint City." Mei Niansu cupped her fist.
