Su Ruochu shared a desk with Chen Fan in high school, but he initially had little interest in his serious, studious classmate. They later attended universities in the same city: she entered a first-tier university, while he attended a second-tier institution. They reunited at a hometown-student gathering during their sophomore year, when Chen Fan began pursuing her 2.

Their relationship lasted four and a half years before Su Ruochu died in an accident. Chen Fan remembered those years as the happiest of his life. When he died in 2024, he held the red cord bracelet she had given him as a token of their love 1 2 40.

High School in the Reborn Timeline
