But judging by the viscount's personality, he probably would not let that fellow off easily.

Viscount Harrington kept walking, heading deep into the Manor's back garden. He unlocked an iron gate with a key and entered a small grove.

Only one bodyguard remained at his side, following his every step.

The man was tall and burly, dressed in a crisp black suit and a wide-brimmed hat, his entire face hidden behind a thick scarf. Even his hands were covered by leather gloves, leaving not the slightest bit of skin exposed.

He looked like a patient suffering from some skin disease, covered tightly from head to toe.

Viscount Harrington and the towering bodyguard passed through the grove and approached a two-story wooden house.

The wooden house looked rather old. Its outer walls were dark brown, and various fungi and moss covered its eaves. In fact, the house had stood in this grove for as long as Viscount Harrington could remember. It seemed to have been left by his ancestors, and he had often played here as a child.

Viscount Harrington pushed open the door and went straight upstairs.

Several figures were sitting on old wooden chairs, seemingly having waited for quite some time.

"What was so urgent that you had to come to my Manor?"

Viscount Harrington frowned slightly as he looked at the figures in the dim light.

He did not sit down, but remained standing at the top of the stairs.

The towering bodyguard stayed beside him, never leaving his side.

"Viscount Harrington, we had no choice... The next 'Treasure Hunt' is about to begin, but we're still a little short on 'treasure.' We can't simply pad the numbers and call it a day, or the reputation we've worked so hard to build will probably plummet."
