Time flowed on.
In the blink of an eye, another three months had passed.
The situation in the Divine Land grew increasingly grave.
The Great Han Dynasty and the Great Sui Dynasty remained embroiled in war, and the fighting grew ever fiercer.
These two colossal powers, which had stood in the Divine Land for so many years, showed faint signs of falling apart.
The Great Song Dynasty was relatively better off, but its armies stationed at the borders dared not relax in the slightest, constantly guarding against a Ming Western Expedition.
The same held true for the nations of the Grasslands.
Although Ming had shown no signs of launching a western expedition or moving against them during these three months,
the nations still dared not lower their guard, and the alliance led by the Xiongnu and the Turkic Khaganate remained in place.
Their allied armies were stationed in the central Grasslands, constantly on tenterhooks as they watched for movements in the east.
Winter was now approaching.
In previous years, this was when the Grasslands nations most frequently rode south to hunt and plunder the nations of the Central Lands, for they needed to seize resources to survive the winter.
This year, however, their vigilance against Ming meant that, even now, no large tribes had ventured south to plunder.
This came as a surprise to the nations of the Central Lands.
Still, it was a good thing.
Without having to guard against invasion by foreign peoples, they only needed to attend to the matters before them.
And so,
following Great Yuan's destruction, the entire Divine Land fell into an eerie silence, with all the nations maintaining a delicate balance.
Great Han and Great Sui were busy with civil war and quelling domestic unrest, respectively.
