Boom!

The rock wall seemed to shake under some invisible, tremendous force. The stone loosened and cracked.

Large chunks broke off the wall, throwing up dust.

Yang Tianxuan and the others looked over curiously.

The original rock wall vanished, revealing a broad tunnel before them.

The tunnel ran deep, and a faint, cool breeze blew out of it, carrying a trace of chill.

Looking into its depths, they could see a faint green glow.

"Put away the Mining Robots. Let's go in and take a look," Yang Tianxuan said gravely.

Dampness permeated the tunnel, and stalactites of all shapes covered its walls. Yang Tianxuan and the guild members took flashlights from their Spatial Inventories, sweeping their beams through the mingled darkness and green light to illuminate the dark areas the green glow did not reach.

"Stay alert, everyone. Watch for movement around us," Yang Tianxuan reminded them quietly, his voice echoing through the tunnel.

As they advanced, the green glow ahead grew clearer, revealing an enormous green light source at the end of the tunnel.

"Boss Yang, there's something here."

The sudden shout drew everyone's attention, and Yang Tianxuan turned toward the direction indicated.

There, where the floor met one wall of the tunnel, lay a pile of strangely shaped skeletons.

These skeletons were not humanoid. Their limbs were long and slender, like twisted vines, and every finger bone resembled a sharp blade. Their fingertips curled toward the rock wall, as though they had tried to grab something before dying.

Every bone of these dead creatures was saturated with an unknown green energy, giving off a faint green glow.
