"You're cheating!"
"Explain how I cheated..."
The result of the fourth round was settled.
Suppressing his fury, You'ai clenched the cards in his palm, their patterns scorched by his energy body as its temperature steadily rose.
It had happened again.
Before the game had even officially begun, his opponent already knew which part of the rules he had altered, winning by "explaining how he cheated."
It completely shattered You'ai's composure.
He stood up and stared fixedly at Fate Throat, anger churning in his crystal-bright eyes.
He refused to believe his opponent could see through the Rule Logic of the game space.
The rules formed a self-contained system. Never mind a mortal creature like his opponent-even those beings who called themselves gods would find them difficult to unravel.
His opponent had to be using an ability similar to Mind Reading.
The instant a thought arose in his mind, his opponent perceived his intentions in advance, rather than finding the answer in the game space's operating Rule Logic after he entered that thought into it.
But even so, his opponent's behavior still infuriated him.
He had never encountered such a difficult opponent in his entire life.
You'ai's icy voice rang out in Fate Throat's mind through mental communication.
"What underhanded trick are you using?"
At the question, Fate Throat leaned lazily against his chair and calmly watched the furious You'ai, a hint of mockery appearing in his silver eyes.
"Underhanded? You really have a way with words. So you think cheating makes you right? Hurry up and start the next round."
Hearing this, You'ai slowly sat down, still seething.
The game had already begun, and there was nothing he could do to his opponent now. Killing a participant prematurely to end the game would subject him to the game space's Backlash.
