Yes, I'm back to writing in the fourth calamity genre.

The book has done pretty well during its new-release period, and I've got that feeling for writing fourth calamity stories back again.

I've seen lots of familiar reader names in the comments lately. It brings tears to my eyes.

I typed up an 800-character note for the paid release, then deleted it all. No amount of talking felt as meaningful as a mass release of chapters, and saying too much would just seem melodramatic.

After all, this isn't my first paid release, so let's get straight to the point: my mass-release goals.

I'll release 30,000 Chinese characters on launch day. For every additional 1,000 monthly votes that month, I'll release an extra chapter, each at least 5,000 characters long.

Don't worry about whether I have a backlog. Bury me in monthly votes.

Finally, the sacrificial offerings: a few books by friends to recommend.

Title: "My Girlfriend Died in the Past." An urban novel featuring time rewinding, by an author you can count on not to abandon the story.

Title: "The Path of the Blade-Wielder." Old-school xianxia, a feast of folklore, and rave reviews-a whole new experience awaits you!

Title: "Entering the Unscientific." The author isn't very well educated; reading with your brain switched on is not recommended.

Title: "Spirit Chapter."

Synopsis: Yue Hanzhang roamed another world in spirit, gathered wandering souls and stray spirits, deduced one wondrous art after another, and ascended to the pinnacle of the supernatural! Hot-blooded, high-martial fantasy!

Title: "Invincibility Began When I Could See the Boss's Health Bar."

Synopsis: Good news: someone found a piece of parchment that produces text.

Title: "The Immortals."

Synopsis: A tale of immortals vying for eternal life, nurturing spirits and feeding ghosts, refining and delivering souls through water and fire.
