"Phantom Thief? Wasn't this guy locked up on the fifth floor?" Mu You wondered.
Among the information he had overheard on North Foot Island yesterday was a piece about Phantom Thief Fan Lun Justin.
Apparently, the man had just been caught, seemingly trapped by some bounty hunter's scheme and thrown into the lowest level of the Undersea Prison.
Could someone imprisoned for life still come out to steal things?
Or had this man escaped his cell just like him, and could now move freely around the prison...
"A reservation letter..."
Mu You frowned at the text prompt, clicked on "Hunger Gem," and tried taking the Gems out of the game.
A prompt popped up: [This item is locked and cannot be transferred between planes.]
He then tried putting it into his backpack and Spatial Ring, as well as binding the Gems.
Every attempt produced the same prompt: [This item is locked. This operation cannot be performed.]
"That's pretty impressive!"
Even Mu You couldn't help offering a word of praise.
This man's ability was interesting. Any item he targeted would gain layers of restrictions: it couldn't be hidden or transferred, and he could learn its location at any time. Even using a Teleportation Array to take it elsewhere was impossible.
In other words, stealing anything locked onto by a Calling Card became significantly easier! Of course, since he had sent a Calling Card, he wouldn't appear before the scheduled time, meaning the item was safe for now.
Regardless, Mu You still didn't know this Phantom Thief's level or strength. In any case, he should make some defensive preparations first.
Mu You had his character leave the cell, find a relatively secluded passage on the fourth floor, and begin laying traps on the ground.
The prison time should now be around 5:20.
