"A Duke's tomb?"
Mai was startled to hear this, and her expression grew troubled.
The Blood Clan placed tremendous importance on funeral rites, because many of them believed death was merely a longer slumber. As long as their remains were preserved, there might be a chance of resurrection in the future.
As such, the locations of Blood Clan tombs were generally extremely secret. Even relatives within their families rarely knew them, let alone the location of a Duke's tomb.
"I don't need an exact location. A general area will do," Mu You added.
That made the request considerably less demanding.
Still, Mai did not agree outright. Instead, she hesitated before asking carefully, "Brother, may I ask why?"
"Because of this."
Mu You hid nothing. He took out the Blood Shrine and showed it to her.
"Ah, th-this is..."
Looking at the Crimson Ashes Urn in Mu You's hand, Mai froze for a second before covering her mouth in shock.

She had never imagined that it still existed intact, much less that her brother had obtained it...
"Of course, don't feel obliged. If you're unwilling, forget it. Pretend I never asked..." Seeing Mai's stunned expression, Mu You added another remark.
He had assumed that, as a member of the Blood Clan, Mai would instinctively feel disgust and resistance toward such an insidious object. Instead...
"This is wonderful!"
Mai looked at Mu You excitedly. "With this, Brother, you can keep advancing!"
"You don't mind?" Mu You blinked. Her reaction was rather different from what he had imagined...
"Why would I mind?"
Mai
