Mu You silently pressed the watch to try again.
[Time flowed, and you returned to ten seconds earlier.] [The Red-Clothed Woman on the second floor had just disappeared. You pursued her again. Knowing there was something wrong with the stairs, you bypassed them this time and chose to climb up the wall.] [You climbed quietly to the second floor without making any noise.] [Upon reaching the second floor, you found that the Red-Clothed Woman had long since vanished. However, what appeared to be a newspaper lay in the center of a nearby dining table, illuminated by a desk lamp.] [You strode forward and picked up the newspaper, immediately noticing its striking red headline: "Saint or Demon? Convent Nun Lilith Slaughters Eleven Adopted Children Overnight!"] [Beneath the headline was a full, detailed report, along with a photograph. It showed a woman in red standing in a pool of blood with a knife in her hand. Eleven mangled children lay at her feet, while the woman looked at the camera with her head slightly lowered and an eerie grin, her expression identical to Mad Jack's when you saw him earlier...]
Mu You frowned as he read.
Could the nun in this report be the so-called "True Master"?
The ghost of the woman in red had clearly wanted to lead him here to see this newspaper.
Yet the newspaper's report was unfavorable to her. The Red-Clothed Woman should have known he was here to help her, so why had she deliberately led him to a report that cast her in such a bad light?
The only possibility was that something was wrong with this account. It was not the truth...
As Mu You pondered, text suddenly popped up in the game.
``` ["Found! You! Hehehe..." A shrill voice suddenly rang
