"What do you think?"
After leaving the sea-of-consciousness space, they gathered in the room again, and Mu You turned to the Night Watchman.
The Night Watchman considered for a moment, then frowned. "Ju Snake probably wasn't lying. I can still tell that much. Without a certain amount of power to back it up, it really can't scare off the Mirage Tapir. If it discovers that Ju Snake is weak now, and has even been sealed away, it'll definitely want revenge. We'd be in danger too."
Mu You considered this, then nodded. "Then let's do what it said."
"Huh? We're really going to unseal that huge thing...?" Linglong swallowed. She had spent four thousand years in the Bitter Garden and encountered Ju Snake many times. She knew all too well how terrifying it was.
Even though they had sealed Ju Snake away, that did nothing to lessen her instinctive fear of it. If possible, she really didn't want to deal with something like that again.
"It's our most workable option right now." Mu You exhaled.
"The question is, who's going?" Linglong asked.
There was only one way to unseal Ju Snake without letting it escape: someone had to enter the Suppression Barrier and forcibly suppress Ju Snake through sheer will while the Holy Spear was removed, until the spear sealed it again.
However, the Night Watchman, the only person who had ever managed this, would have to confront the Mirage Tapir himself. He couldn't be in two places at once. Someone else had to do it.
"I will," Mu You said.
"Original... are you sure you can do it?" Linglong looked at Mu You uneasily. Back then, even the Night Watchman had
