The shortsword felt slightly heavy. Its blade extended in sinuous curves like a snake, with a slightly hooked tip that gleamed with an emerald chill.
Judging by its stats alone, this shortsword was not particularly impressive. Twenty agility was decent in the Star Spirit World, but in the High Heaven World, especially for players who had fused with Divine Bones, the four attributes had already been heavily diluted. These few attribute points hardly mattered. By comparison, those five points of Divine Power were much more important.
However, this thing took up an equipment slot. There was no need to mention how scarce equipment slots were in the True World. Mu You's current slots were barely enough for his Divine Artifacts and hidden Relics. A mere five points of Divine Power did not qualify it for a dedicated slot.
What really caught Mu You's eye was the additional effect: defense reduction.
Every hit could reduce God's Defense, and the effect stacked. Although each stack lasted only ten seconds, with a fast enough attack speed, there was still a chance to reduce defense by double digits or more within those ten seconds. That was a considerable figure!
For example, the Poison Velvet Spider earlier had a whopping 20-23 points of God's Defense, while Mu You only had 24 points of Divine Power in total. With star-rank suppression on top of that, his normal attacks barely scratched it, and virtually all his damage came from Divine Arts.
