"Yes. Leaving everyone else aside, at least my own bones are buried in this city." The Lamp Genie nodded.
"So the God-Eater Beasts occupied this city to excavate the remains of Gods and recover their authorities?" Mu You mused.
"Very likely..." The Lamp Genie said gravely, "Of course, my authority is special. It isn't contained in my Divine Bones, but sealed within my soul by the Power of Miracle. Finding my bones won't do them any good."
"But the other Gods weren't so lucky. Most Gods' authorities remain in their bones. As long as their bones can be found, some of their authority can indeed be extracted from them..." The Lamp Genie couldn't help frowning as he spoke. If even this last batch of authorities fell into the God-Eater Beasts' hands, they would become even harder to deal with.
