What was going on? Mu You wondered. He had wanted to approach Moon Lake, but he had not acted yet. Even if a Wildman suspected him of ill intent, surely they should have restrained him first rather than immediately trying to kill him?
And that was not the end of it. Realizing the first blow had failed to kill him, the Wildman who attacked him immediately charged forward to finish him off.
