Lier came to his senses, dazed. An entire dose of Lizard Serum had been injected into his heart.
His cheeks had already turned lizard-like. Red and green blood streamed down from his head, while dark steam, thick enough to almost block his vision, filled the office.

A large Access Pod rose from the floor, and Lier dropped to his knees inside it.

The Iron Soldier at the explosion's core had turned completely into black scrap metal. Only a little of its legs still retained their shape; the rest had either melted away or been blown off, or was completely warped.
He couldn't hear anything. His flickering HUD warned him that some kind of giant was approaching behind him, each step making the ground tremble.
