At Galkayo Port, a temporary American military port, construction had been proceeding in full swing when the Iron Soldiers suddenly began twitching on the spot like epileptic sheep. Soon, they had all collapsed!
General Ross saw this and hurried out. There were only 22 living people in the entire port, and with the main workforce paralyzed, everyone fell into a panic:
First the Iron Soldiers had started responding sluggishly to commands, then they had run around for no apparent reason. Now they had stopped working altogether!
This was an automated force: two Frigates and a small destroyer. The crew quarters inside had all been converted into electronic equipment, and they used Stark Industries technology for semiautomated operation. But now, everything was paralyzed!
The technicians would need an entire day just to troubleshoot the Server errors. Who knew what the pirates elsewhere on the island would do once they caught on?
The sweat-soaked engineers ran around on the ships, but the robots seemed to have a little life left in them, occasionally making inexplicable, violent movements. One engineer was running when an Iron Soldier suddenly moved and slapped him flying, sending him straight into the sea!
General Ross was startled by the sight. He angrily flung off his hat and swore:
"Goddamn Stark Industries! Goddamn robot army!"
The self-destruct core made of shattered robots ignited, and a dazzling flash filled everyone's vision.
Boom-boom-boom-boom!
"Forget about them!"
On the deck, Wakanda's Royal Guard stood ready and clicked the safeties off their polished AK-47s in unison.
"What did you do?!"
Several Iron Soldiers immediately took off. They had to run!
