"What the hell?"
Joestar moved forward in the darkness.
Thermal vision, a low-light enhancer, and a dynamic vision enhancement component.
None of these components were top-of-the-line on their own, but together they made up Sharp Eyes, Maelstrom's exclusive Cyber-Eye.
Though they looked more or less the same on the outside, each component had been picked up wherever they could find it, so every Maelstrom Cyber-Eye was unique.
A pile of shit scattered across the sky, a star when brought together-that was an apt description of this Cyberware.
Maelstrom had tested an exaggerated number of components, all of which were perfectly compatible with this Cyber-Eye system known as "Sharp Eyes." They could be assembled into a Cyber-Eye without using any high-tech materials.
But because of this, the thing itself had no stability to speak of. A good one could rival Kiroshi, while a bad one was worse than some no-name Cyber-Eye bought on the black market.
Joestar's happened to be one of the better ones.
In the pitch-black tunnel, the outlines of objects were clearly visible to him. It was hard to make out their colors, but he could still see their shapes and had no trouble judging distances.
He walked for dozens of meters or so.
Boom!
The entire underground space began to tremble. The lines representing the walls looked as if someone had yanked them with a mouse!
A huge boulder crashed down!
"Holy shit!" Joestar hopped aside, looking at the boulder that had nearly turned him into a flat-headed man.
As he dodged, his foot landed on something with a strange texture.
Having lost his original limbs, he now had a full-body Cyberware setup that lacked the sensitive touch of skin. But he had become more sensitive to the drive components in his joints and the force exerted
