The five recruited players were Xingqiu, Thousand Miles, Lemonade with Ice, Horsehead with a Sword, and Fragrant Grass at Sunset.
The five met in the north of the city and found the shop at the location specified by the game. The moment they stepped inside, they lost consciousness.
Horsehead with a Sword was the first to wake. He had been extraordinarily unlucky since childhood, but after being chosen by this game, his fortunes had finally begun to turn. So far, he had played three games and narrowly escaped death every time.
This was Challenge Mode. All five knew exactly what that meant: this ghost story, [Close Your Eyes], had wiped out an entire group of players before.
This was a real horror game.
Looking around, Horsehead with a Sword discovered that the others were in the same situation as him, each secured to a wooden chair. The five sat two meters apart around a small black round table.
As for this place, it was indeed an abandoned Murder Mystery Shop. Perhaps it had closed because business had been poor. Black-and-white tiles covered the floor, and the paintings on the walls and the decor throughout the room were full of imagination.
Simply put, these were bizarre decorations no ordinary household would ever choose.

As these words appeared, five additional people eerily materialized in the gaps between them, separating each player from the next.
