November 8, early morning. Torrential rain.
Every player saw the same blood-red text pop up-
[Ghost Story: Wedding Dress.] [Entire team wiped out.]
The rumbling thunder was hardly out of place amid the violent storm, yet it still made everyone's heart shudder.
[Wedding Dress].
A newly emerged ghost story. A [Multiplayer Mode] ghost story.
Yang stared at his phone, his brow deeply furrowed.
The last ghost story that had put him under such pressure was [Ping'an Hospital], so he had spent an enormous Spirit Pupil Count to forcibly skip that round of the game.
But this time...
There was a veteran player he was close to in the [Wedding Dress] ghost story.
Through that player, whose code name was [Home Flower], Yang had learned the opening lines and game requirements for [Wedding Dress].
Yet it was precisely because he knew them that he felt increasingly certain something was terribly wrong with this ghost story.
[Ghost Story: Wedding Dress.] [Opening lines: Put on my wedding dress.] [I don't want to die too soon.] [I ask you... where will we go after death?] [You laugh as you cry.] [Stroke my rotting body.] [Kiss my skeletal arms.] [Whisper-] [There's still time, there's still time...]
Few ghost stories could make a veteran player's hair stand on end through their opening lines alone. [Wedding Dress] had done it.
After seeing the opening lines, all five players in [Home Flower]'s group had fallen into extreme terror. Even before the game officially began on November 7, they had already started experiencing visual hallucinations of varying severity.
"Yang, the game starts at midnight on November 7. These past few days have been really strange... we've all encountered scenes of brides getting married..." Home Flower said.
"Normal scenes, or hallucinations created by ghosts?" Yang asked.
