Yun Che waited beside the magma pool for about five minutes. If not for the kill notifications, he would have suspected that the fire dragon had long since died.
A few more minutes passed before the fire dragon cautiously poked its head out of the magma.
But the instant it saw Yun Che, it ducked back down and swiftly dove into the depths, seemingly refusing to come out even if it was beaten to death.
Yun Che chuckled and said, "Don't think I can't do anything to you just because you're hiding in the magma pool. In my current state, even entering the magma won't harm me at all."
After a long while, the fire dragon still hadn't emerged. Yun Che stopped waiting and jumped into the magma pool, intending to beat it out himself.
However, when he dove to the bottom of the magma pool, he discovered another remarkable sight beneath it.
At the bottom of the scorching magma pool was a cyan-blue spring. Water bubbled from it, forming a thin stream that slowly flowed along the magma and into the earth.
The fire dragon that refused to come out was gulping down this wondrous spring water nearby. Its wounds, which had yet to heal completely, were also closing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Realization flashed in Yun Che's eyes. So it wasn't the fire dragon's natural healing ability, but the effect of this mysterious spring. He had stumbled upon a treasure.
The fire dragon was drinking the spring water with its legs crossed when it suddenly saw that tiny human swimming toward it. It was so frightened that its face twitched.
What was that blue barrier around the human? It didn't even fear magma!
But in the next instant, it realized that things were bad.
