Yun Che looked up at the sky, speechless.
Hadn't he just taken a King Realm expert as his master?
Did he really have to act so high and mighty?
He knew why Yun Jin was so pleased with himself.
It was most likely because the Old Drunkard lived here but had not taken Yun Che as his disciple.
In Yun Jin's eyes, that meant the Old Drunkard thought Yun Che wasn't good enough.
And although Yun Jin had resorted to a little trickery,
he had successfully become his disciple, after all.
With that comparison, wasn't the difference obvious?
Yun Che reminded him, "The Old Drunkard isn't awake yet. I suggest you come back in an hour."
Yun Jin paid him no mind and walked past him, sword in hand.
"Little brother, I know you're jealous that I've taken a powerful expert as my master, but you can't sabotage me!"
"Master told me to come at this hour. How could I delay even a moment?"
Yun Che nodded and said nothing more. After using Divine Hand on him, he followed the thin attendant toward the academy square.
However, before he had taken even ten steps, a bang rang out, and Yun Jin flew out of the courtyard, slamming hard into a nearby wall.
"You disobedient disciple! What time do you think it is? Come back tomorrow!"
Yun Che glanced at Yun Jin's swollen left eye and shook his head slightly. Good advice could hardly save someone determined to court death!
The thin attendant glanced into the courtyard, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Vice Dean Yun's little courtyard really does harbor hidden talents," he said coldly.
Yun Che smiled without explaining.
"Hello, Vice Dean!"
"Good morning, Vice Dean!"
Along the way, every student or instructor who passed Yun Che greeted him respectfully.
