Yun Che did not leave immediately. Instead, he stood where he was and reined in his aura, following his senses to pinpoint the source of the fluctuation. It lay in the direction of the abandoned docks in the east of the city.
The place rarely saw visitors to begin with, and late at night, there were not even any security guards on patrol. It was just the right place for these Low-Level Demons that had just crawled through the cracks to settle.
Yun Che rubbed his fingertips together. With a slight movement of his feet, he silently sped toward the east of the city.

When Yun Che reached the abandoned docks, he saw three demons wreathed in blackish-purple smoke huddled in the shadows of the shipping containers, gnawing on the corpse of a homeless beggar they had dragged over from somewhere. The bloody stench was detectable from dozens of meters away.
Sensing someone approaching, they abruptly raised their heads. Jagged mouths split open across their gray-green faces, and guttural growls rose from their throats as they lunged at Yun Che together.
These were merely the lowest-ranking Inferior Demons.
