At two in the afternoon, the Sports Day events resumed.
Since the upcoming events were all fun games, the atmosphere both on and off the field was more relaxed than ever.
The first event was the Three-Brick Step.
The rules were simple. Each contestant used three lightweight wooden bricks for support, standing on them and moving them forward alternately by hand. If their hands or feet accidentally touched the ground, they had to return to the starting line and begin again. The first to reach the finish won.
The event took place on the grass at the Track and Field. The course was twenty meters long, making the round trip forty meters.
The game looked simple, but doing it well was no easy feat. It really tested a person's coordination.
Pretty much everyone who had signed up had already watched Three-Brick Step tutorials online. Their eyes had learned how, but once they actually stood on the bricks, they suddenly had no idea where their hands and feet should go!
