By half past ten, the parent-teacher meeting was drawing to a close.
Chen Shi'an and Lin Meng Qiu were still waiting in the balcony corridor for the meeting to end when Wen Zhixia came pattering down from upstairs.

Lin Meng Qiu glanced at her and ignored her, lowering her head to rewatch the video of Chen Shi'an's speech on her phone.
Wen Zhixia paid her no attention either and jogged straight over to Chen Shi'an.
"Taoist!"
"What brought you down here, Little Cicada? Is your meeting over?"
"No, I came down to see. Have you given your speech yet? I came to listen!"
"Then you're too late. I just finished."
"Ahhh-did you record it? Let me see. I want to see how you copied me."
"What are you talking about? I came up with all of that myself."
"Pfft. Come on, show me."
"I don't have a video. I was up there speaking. How could I record it? Have you gone up yet, Little Cicada?"
"Yes, I've already finished. Don't you know to ask a classmate to record it for you? I have a video."
"Then let me see yours."
"Nope~"
"Let me see."
Since the Stinking Taoist insisted, Wen Zhixia handed over the phone she had prepared long ago. She had specifically asked a classmate to record her speech.
Chen Shi'an took her phone and watched the girl in the video earnestly sharing her study experience and insights at the lectern. It felt rather amusing.
"You looked that nervous?" Chen Shi'an asked with a laugh.
"With all those parents watching, weren't you nervous?"
"No."
"Liar!"
While the two watched the video and chatted, Wen Zhixia suddenly heard "Chen Shi'an's" voice coming from beside them:
