All four of them had arrived and were waiting at the school gate with their luggage.
Wen Zhixia and Yao Jingyan laughed and chatted, while Chen Shi'an stood beside them and joined in. Lin Meng Qiu was as quiet as ever, listening to the three of them, taking occasional sips of water and checking the time now and then.
"Have you always boarded at school, Xiao Yan?" Chen Shi'an asked.
"Yep, I've been boarding since middle school. Chen Shi'an, do you know where we'll be staying?"
"They said guest dormitories, but I don't know exactly what they're like."

Since they were going away for an activity together, the girls were all rather excited. It felt a little like starting at a new school.
Soon, at a little before two, Teacher Yang, who was responsible for taking them there, drove up in a school vehicle, a seven-seater SUV.
The car slowly stopped at the school gate, and all four of them approached with their luggage.
Teacher Yang opened his door and got out, coming over with a smile to help them with their bags.
"You're all here so early. Been waiting long?"

"Yes."
"Then let's get in and head off. We can talk on the way."
Teacher Yang was the deputy head of Senior Year Two and Class Eleven's politics teacher. Wen Zhixia and Yao Jingyan knew him very well. As for Chen Shi'an and Lin Meng Qiu, even if they weren't particularly familiar with Teacher Yang, how could he not be familiar with them?
