After making it through a perilous June, they finally welcomed July and the height of summer.
The school's Gaokao results were out too. Perhaps Chen Shi'an's Wenchang Talismans had played a part: overall results had improved considerably over previous years, with 76% qualifying for first-tier universities and 95% qualifying for undergraduate programs.
To celebrate the graduating senior class's outstanding results, the school had even hung a long banner outside its gates.
Unfortunately, compared with the provincial key school, Jianzhang No. 1 High School, Yunqi No. 1 High School still fell a little short. Their first-tier qualification rate was a whopping 96.7%, and their undergraduate qualification rate had reached 99.99%. Their performance was astonishingly consistent.
But those working in education had to have dreams! They hadn't beaten them this year, but there was still plenty of promise for next year!
