People really couldn't stay cooped up indoors all the time. After going out for a walk together by the river, Li Wanyin experienced the rare relaxation and pleasure of a holiday. Without the pressure of job hunting or the urgency of having to work tomorrow, she looked radiant.
It was already ten thirty at night when the two of them and the cat returned home.
Li Wanyin went back to her room first and changed into her little lounge shorts and the T-shirt she used as pajamas. Before Chen Shi'an took his shower, she went to wash her feet, wash her face, and brush her teeth.
Droplets clung to her lovely face, fresh and clean as a lotus emerging from water.
"Shi'an, I'm off to bed, then?"

Li Wanyin closed her door and went back into her room.
Chen Shi'an took a change of clothes and went to shower too.
