Background / History

Qian Renxue grew up without maternal affection from Bibi Dong and was sent to Heaven Dou Imperial City at age nine to serve as Spirit Hall’s undercover agent. She assumed the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe and endured the pressure of maintaining that role within the imperial family 15.

While drinking alone in a tavern, she is harassed by drunkards before Xue Tianmo intervenes. She opens up to him about her family troubles; after they become intimate, the two agree to keep the incident secret and remain friends 15. She subsequently investigates his background while continuing her work as Xue Qinghe, discovering his status as Skywater Academy’s exceptional ice-attribute genius 18.

Qian Renxue later challenges Xue Tianmo to a spar in order to gauge his strength. Initially confident in her Soul Emperor cultivation and Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul, she is shocked by his abnormal soul-ring configuration, twin Martial Souls, and defensive abilities; she ultimately calls the match a draw 21 22 23.
