Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demons were an extremely unusual group.
They developed and passed down their legacy through families, and worshipped their respective families' Primordial Ancestors. In a sense, they were not fundamentally different from families with a Family Faith System, yet the Great Churches still classified them as Otherworldly Demons in their accounts.
Part of the reason was their own excessive pride: they would rather be called "Otherworldly Demons" than "sink to being" human.
The more complicated and profound reasons, however, lay in history.
During the Previous Era, Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demons had once grown powerful enough to control several countries of considerable population and territory. While expanding the ranks of their "own kind" on a massive scale, they had gradually evolved into "royal clans" and "divine clans" revered and worshipped by ordinary people. That had been their golden age.
The turning point from prosperity to decline came when the Church of Light issued a proclamation, directly branding Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demons as "darkness" and "Heresy."
Immediately afterward, the Order God Church answered the Church of Light's call and led the war against the Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demons.
In secular society, other countries also formed Allied Forces to campaign against the countries controlled by Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demons.
The outcome had been inevitable.
Even completely united, the Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demons could never have been a match for the Order God Church, much less when they had already fractured.
Compared with the "royal clans'" dismal performance, although the secular forces ultimately lost as well, they won several classic battles. Even an era later, the stories of those victories still circulated as a kind of myth across their former lands.
Although those human military commanders had been culturally branded as "Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demons," that still could not obscure a certain charm they possessed, which made them immensely
