Hearing this "rank," the other students exchanged glances, either tightening their expressions or lowering their heads to cough softly. In short, they forced themselves to stay serious and not laugh.
They were either members of Kallen's squad or had personally witnessed him lead his team during the Final Selection. None of them truly believed Kallen was merely a Divine Servant.
But once you first received your identification, nothing on it would change unless you took the initiative to update it.
A few days earlier, after the Final Selection ended, a regulation had been issued alongside those documents from Church Headquarters, requiring the Church's grassroots offices to conduct an inventory and update of Cleric identification.
