After finishing his meeting with Byrne, Kallen left the Church Administration Building and carried Little Kangna back to the dormitory on his back. Opening the door, he saw Aoji sitting on the sofa, with a large platter of spicy stir-fried river snails on the tea table before her, picking out the meat with a toothpick.
A Frost Dragon with a body so enormous it was almost terrifying was now relishing tiny river snails.
Seeing Kallen return, Aoji hurriedly bent down on instinct to pick up the snail shells that had fallen onto the floor.
But she soon felt that being so "meek and nervous" was inappropriate. When Kallen passed her, she took the initiative to speak in a slightly leisurely, amused tone:
"Oh, back from your scolding?"
Kallen ignored her.
After settling Little Kangna onto the bed in the bedroom, Kallen came back out.
"Young Master, would you like something to eat?"
"Is there anything ready?"
"There are spring rolls. I can heat them up for you."
"Mm."
Kallen sat down in a chair, planning to eat something before returning to his office. He was actually sleepy already, but he intended to sleep in his office.
Just then, the door was kicked open, and Daina appeared in the doorway, clad in armor with a sword over her shoulder. She shouted:
"Xili, I'm hungry!"
Then she noticed Kallen sitting inside and immediately added:
"Please prepare some food for me."
"Of course, Miss Daina."
Daina put down her greatsword and was about to take off her armor when Kallen said:
"Keep it on for now. Take it off after eating."
Armor was like shoes: leaving it on was fine, but once it came off, the trapped smell would escape.
