Ch. 621The High Priest's melodica

Regiment Commander Daan arrived to deal with the Dragon Clan faction and heal Daina, then assigned Kallen to begin an investigation into the attack. Daan’s memories revealed that he had killed Daina’s father at the High Priest’s command, and that the High Priest had stopped playing the melodica afterward.

  • Daan arrived at the hospital, demanded to see Daina, and beat Aoji for failing in her responsibilities.
  • Daan used a black sphere and a shadowy figure to transfer Daina’s injuries and save her life.
  • Daan questioned Kallen about his identity and the incident, then ordered him to form a temporary Special Investigation Team.
  • Kallen left to contact Suss while Daan remained beside Daina and recalled killing her father with the Demon-Breaking Bow.
  • Daan remembered that the High Priest had never played the melodica again after that night.

Ch. 622The Dragon Mother's Fury

Kallen arranged for a Special Investigation Team to investigate Laio’s assassination and went with Aoji to secure her father’s body. At the hospital, Aoji’s mother Anse confessed to helping murder her husband and asked the Order to support her bid to lead the Dragon Clan Lineage, revealing her desire to see her own people become extinct.

  • Kallen took the injured Aoji to the Church Administration Building and contacted District Chief Suss to request investigators and a Formation Department squad.
  • Kallen learned from Aoji that the Wise Lineage had taken the Replica Spear of Rebellion, then went with her to the hospital to secure Laio’s body.
  • Kallen confronted a Thunderhorn Rhino that blocked his path, and it backed down after he challenged it.
  • At the hospital morgue, Aoji recognized her mother, Anse, who was demanding to take Laio’s body; Kallen sent Aoji to bring her to a temporary office.
  • Kallen questioned Anse, who admitted taking part in her husband’s murder and asked for Order’s support in becoming the Dragon Clan Lineage’s next leader.
  • Anse promised to provide her clan for Order’s research, military, and population-control plans, then declared that she wanted the Dragon Clan to become extinct.

Ch. 623The Order God Church's End

Kallen resisted Madam Anse’s seduction and learned that the mysterious skeleton had backed him, while Aoji remained under Order’s control as officials considered how to handle the dragon lineage. Elsewhere, Molindi revealed to Daan that she had gestated the Bone Dragon and warned that the High Priest intended to prevent the God of Order’s return, potentially leading the church to destruction.

  • Madam Anse tried to seduce Kallen and Aoji, but Kallen resisted and questioned her motives; she said the mysterious skeleton admired him and had once advised her husband to advance someone who became the High Priest.
  • Madam Anse left Kallen and Aoji alone, and Aoji asked when she could take Daina away; Kallen said she might have to take her mother’s place if Order escalated its response.
  • Kallen waited for his people and considered how to recruit the arriving Dark Moon Warriors, while wondering where the skeleton had hidden the promised Bone Dragon.
  • Regiment Commander Daan confronted Molindi, who told him a skeleton had visited her and revealed the Bone Dragon gestating behind her in the cave.
  • Molindi argued that the High Priest was suppressing Lord Tyranus’s will and would prevent the God of Order from returning; Daan insisted he would keep fighting for Order, while Molindi warned the church would be destroyed.

Ch. 624Deal, beast

Molindi told Daan she had turned against the High Priest because she believed he meant to prevent the God of Order's return, and she resolved to kill Kallen if he came to execute her. Meanwhile, Neo's Special Investigation Team arrived in the Main City and began a forceful investigation before Neo and Kallen bargained over the team's expenses and a share of the proceeds.

  • Molindi warned Daan that the God of Order would return, but Daan called her bewitched and left her imprisoned.
  • A bronze skeleton told Molindi that Daan would arrange for Kallen to kill her, and Molindi said she would try to take Kallen with her while the skeleton chose whether to save him.
  • After leaving the cave, the skeleton studied Allen Manor's purchases and formation diagrams, then wondered who Kallen might really be.
  • Neo arrived with Alfred, Vic, and a large Whip of Order force, then ordered them to seize communications personnel, locate the Bone Dragon and Replica Spear of Rebellion, and prepare a hospital as their office.
  • Neo declared the team's carriages requisitioned, then met Kallen and bargained with him over their under-the-table income and the Dark Moon Warriors' pay and benefits.

Ch. 625Pig slop

Kallen met with Regiment Commander Daan, who formally assigned him to lead the Special Investigation Team and ordered him to kill a sealed Undead Creature in ten days. Afterward, Kallen joined Philomina at a Vien restaurant she was watching, where he explained the surveillance as a way to anticipate the skeleton’s behavior, just as a young man arrived and called the cuisine pig slop.

  • Kallen learned that Regiment Commander Daan wanted to see him and expected the Special Investigation Team to be formally established.
  • Kallen met Daan, accepted an order to kill an imprisoned Undead Creature in ten days, and learned that the mission was a private matter tied to weakening the Dragon Clan lineage and suppressing the Wise Lineage.
  • Kallen sat with Daan by the river for several hours before leaving to return to the hospital.
  • Philomina reported that she had found and was watching the city’s only Vien restaurant, Old Weil’s Vien Cuisine, so Kallen went to join her.
  • Kallen advised Philomina to watch the restaurant in disguise and claimed that the skeleton might visit to enjoy Vien cuisine while mocking it.
  • A young man entered the restaurant and announced that he had come to taste Old Weil’s pig slop again.

Ch. 626The skeleton's true identity

Kallen and Philomina fought the skeleton, who escaped after threatening them with a Forbidden Spell scroll. Kallen traced the skeleton’s puppet to a woman whose reflected face looked like Eunice, but he decided the image was a deliberate misdirection and concluded the original was a woman he knew.

  • Kallen recognized the skeleton, and he and the disguised young man realized they had recognized each other.
  • Philomina ambushed the skeleton and used Entering a Dream while Kallen struck, but the skeleton revealed his bronze bones and countered their attacks.
  • Kallen completed a Sealing formation that trapped the skeleton’s escape vortex, and the skeleton threatened to detonate a Forbidden Spell scroll.
  • The skeleton admitted he was a puppet doppelganger and withdrew his consciousness, leaving the scroll behind.
  • Kallen used the Chains of Order to trace the skeleton’s residual consciousness and saw a woman’s face that resembled Eunice in a mirror.
  • Kallen hid his shock and reasoned that the woman had shown him Eunice’s face deliberately, meaning the skeleton’s original self was a woman he knew.

Ch. 627Awakening again

Kallen returned to the hotel after defeating the skeleton’s puppet double, while Neo stayed behind to manage the investigation. Meanwhile, the bone dragon escaped Muli’s escort, and Kallen found the skeleton apparently awakened again in his hotel room.

  • Neo told Kallen to keep the puppet skeleton and investigate which woman might be behind its actions, while Neo handled the aftermath at the restaurant.
  • Muli ordered his team to maintain the bone dragon’s escort when Kallen’s signal appeared in the sky.
  • After the skeleton’s apparent death broke the seal restraining her, the bone dragon smashed out of the prison carriage and attacked Muli.
  • The bone dragon escaped underground, and Muli led the clerics in pursuit through the tunnel.
  • Kallen returned to the hotel after bathing and found the skeleton in Order Clerical Robes, smiling and claiming it had awakened again.

Ch. 628A decision against the ancestors

Puer tested a powerful skeleton puppet, and Kallen explained how churches had lost techniques and regressed after the gods disappeared. After the Bone Dragon escaped, Kallen pursued her with Lord Aoji, rescued Muli, and trapped the dragon; Lord Aoji then offered the dragon a chance to grow as she had.

  • Puer demonstrated the skeleton puppet’s fire magic, then explained that it needed modifications and that lost techniques could not simply be recovered with money or manuals.
  • Kallen learned from Puer that many churches had regressed because their gods and the people who preserved their techniques were gone, then ordered the puppet modified with Neo’s help.
  • After Aisili reported that the Bone Dragon had escaped, Kallen left to pursue her and recruited Lord Aoji, who initially objected to capturing a dragon.
  • Muli fought the Bone Dragon alone, endured her attacks, and wounded her before Kallen arrived and protected him with an Order Barrier.
  • Kallen trapped the Bone Dragon with Order-Death Lock and prepared to force her submission, while Lord Aoji transformed into her Frost Dragon form and asked the Bone Dragon whether she wanted to grow as she had.

Ch. 629God Who Must Not Be Looked At

The Little Bone Dragon controlled Lord Aoji and nearly killed Kallen, forcing him to threaten mutual destruction with a Forbidden Spell. Fudeng's remote restraint disabled Lord Aoji, leaving the defiant Little Bone Dragon immobilized and exposed to Kallen.

  • The Little Bone Dragon rejected submission, controlled Lord Aoji, and turned her against Kallen.
  • Kallen survived Lord Aoji's attacks inside an ice barrier and threatened to destroy himself and the Little Bone Dragon with Tears of the Moon God.
  • The woman in York City discovered the Little Bone Dragon's connection to the Rebel Dragon God and suffered bleeding while calculating whether Kallen was the returned God of Order.
  • Molindi revealed that she had added the Rebel Dragon God's scale to the Little Bone Dragon and prepared to kill Kallen when he came for her.
  • Fudeng detected Lord Aoji's uncontrolled emotions and remotely activated a restraint on her.
  • The Little Bone Dragon refused Kallen's ultimatum, but Lord Aoji's forced transformation left her frozen and defenseless before him.

Ch. 630Taming the rebellious dragon

Kallen confronted Lord Aoji after she returned to human form, then wounded her while trying to learn why she had attacked him. He spared her to pursue a chance to subdue the little Bone Dragon, whose fury in their soul duel revealed her connection to the Rebel Dragon God.

  • Kallen accused Lord Aoji of using the little Bone Dragon's control as an excuse to kill him and avoid punishment, and she admitted that she hated him for resembling the Whip Bearer.
  • Lord Aoji revealed that she had initially played along with the Bone Dragon's control, then explained that the creature's Dragon God's aura suppressed her bloodline.
  • Kallen stabbed Lord Aoji repeatedly and nearly killed her, but stopped when she warned that killing her might cause the Bone Dragon to destroy herself; he then slapped Lord Aoji twice with his sword.
  • Kallen entered the Bone Dragon's soul space and used the Gate of Order to block her attacks while promising to nurture her rebellious conviction.
  • The Bone Dragon rejected Kallen's praise of her potential and angrily revealed that she had been raised as livestock by the Rebel Dragon God.

Ch. 631An alliance of rebels

Kallen recognized the little Bone Dragon’s fierce independence and let her fight Thousand Enchantments, who gained the upper hand with his support. When the Bone Dragon awakened her Rebel Dragon God inheritance, Kallen answered with Order’s manifestation, and the two rebels recognized each other.

  • Kallen sent Thousand Enchantments to fight the little Bone Dragon, and the two soul forms clashed fiercely.
  • Thousand Enchantments used the Chains of Order to overpower the Bone Dragon and tear her body apart.
  • The Bone Dragon manifested the Rebel Dragon God’s power, burning Thousand Enchantments and pinning her down.
  • Kallen summoned Order’s faith manifestation and stopped the Dragon God’s phantom from striking Thousand Enchantments.
  • The Bone Dragon rejected the phantom’s protection, and Kallen stood atop Order’s manifestation as the two rebels met eyes and she smiled at him.

Ch. 632Dragon God Armor!

Kallen gained the little Bone Dragon’s trust and became her Master-Servant Contract partner, while promising to help her grow and protect her identity. Their bond let her merge with him and form powerful dragon-bone armor, and Kallen asked her to kill him if he ever abandoned his ideals.

  • Kallen healed the little Bone Dragon’s soul, and she transformed into a white-haired girl and accepted his hand.
  • Kallen freed the girl from the ice and told Lord Aoji he wanted her as his partner, warning Aoji to keep her identity secret.
  • Kallen dressed the girl in his robe and carried her, while Aoji agreed to conceal her secret and urged him to sign a Symbiosis Contract.
  • Kallen proposed a temporary Master-Servant Contract, and the girl pierced his neck with her fingers before merging into his body and signing.
  • Kallen signed the contract and gained dragon-bone armor and a protective barrier, then asked the girl to kill him if he ever betrayed his ideals.

Ch. 633A god's whisper

After signing a contract with the injured little Bone Dragon, Kallen fell into a seven-day coma after a divine dream showed the God of Order awakening a dragon skeleton. He woke at the Dusk Hotel, learned the investigation continued in his absence, and found the little Bone Dragon in the spare room with Raniedal chewing on her arm.

  • Kallen ended the trial, healed Muli, and fell asleep with the little Bone Dragon after ordering Muli to summon help.
  • In a dream, Kallen saw a dragon skeleton and heard the God of Order awaken it with the words "Order... Awakening"; the ensuing Dragon Roar overwhelmed him.
  • Kallen woke after seven days at the Dusk Hotel, where Philomina explained that the Special Investigation Team had continued working while he was unconscious.
  • Kallen sent Lord Aoji to guard the hallway, then learned from Puer that the little Bone Dragon was being held in the second bedroom as evidence pending a partner relationship with him.
  • Kallen opened the spare bedroom door and saw Raniedal holding the little Bone Dragon's arm in his mouth.

Ch. 634Time to make a move

Kallen named the little bone dragon Kanna Immoreles and left Puer and Kevin to care for her before returning to the Special Investigation Team’s work. After discussing the case’s profits and his plan to take over the Dark Moon Warriors, he met Regiment Commander Daan, who ordered him to kill someone before a Knight Order arrived.

  • Puer explained that Kevin had only been playing with the little bone dragon, and Kallen told Puer to teach her human speech and look after her.
  • Puer named the little bone dragon Kanna Immoreles, and Kallen agreed that she could take the Immoreles surname.
  • Kallen reflected that his similarities to the God of Order came from both of them following the same flower-scented path, not from reincarnation or returned memories.
  • Kallen visited the Special Investigation Team’s office, learned that the operation was earning substantial money, and considered using the proceeds to support and absorb the Dark Moon Warriors.
  • Kallen visited Regiment Commander Daan, who praised his leadership and told him to kill her before a Knight Order arrived.

Ch. 635Neo's exasperation

Kallen and his team traveled to the cave where the Apostate was imprisoned to carry out a secret execution, but discovered she had long ago gained control of the prison formation. Kangna revealed that the prisoner was her mother, and Neo agreed to enter the cave to scout.

  • Neo complained to Alfred about Kallen’s good fortune, then teased Kangna and joked with Kallen while the group prepared to leave.
  • Kallen set out with Neo, Alfred, Philomina, Ventura, Kangna, and Kevin, leaving Puer behind as their liaison and traveling by ladybug.
  • After nearly a day on the road, Kallen’s team reached the cave and prepared a formation to resonate with the Imprisonment Formation.
  • Kallen discovered that the prisoner had reverse control of the formation, while Kevin and Neo helped explain why she had not escaped.
  • Alfred proposed sending someone inside to scout, but Kallen refused to send Philomina and nominated Neo instead.
  • Kangna revealed that the prisoner inside was her mother, and Neo reluctantly agreed to enter after Kallen joked about burning paper offerings for him.

Ch. 636Clash

Neo entered the underground cavern to investigate the apostate and was overwhelmed in battle by Molindi’s undead summons. Molindi let him leave after recognizing his Bloodthirsty Otherworldly Demon bloodline, and Neo gave her Kallen’s name as he departed.

  • Neo found a recent Order Knights Corps bootprint and suspected Regiment Commander Daan had visited the cavern.
  • Molindi emerged from the enormous heart and sent Fudeng and two Lizardman puppets to attack Neo.
  • Neo survived Fudeng’s attacks by using vampire arts but was badly injured and could not find an opening to counterattack.
  • Molindi appeared with the heart, identified Neo’s bloodline, and told him he could leave.
  • When Molindi asked whether Neo was connected to someone she had known, Neo introduced himself as Kallen.

Ch. 637The apostate

Neo was captured by Molindi after she mistook his borrowed name, Kallen, for the real man, while Kallen’s group used the prison Formation to assess the danger and decided not to descend. Molindi learned Neo was not Kallen and considered sparing him, but Neo revealed himself as a renegade of Order.

  • Neo claimed the name Kallen, so Molindi ordered Fudeng to block his escape and restrained him when he attacked with a black rose.
  • Neo tried to persuade Molindi that he could lure the real Kallen to her, but she rejected his story and bound him with tendrils from the heart.
  • Molindi explained that she had never betrayed the Order God Church, only the High Priest, and used a blood-made double to fool the prison Formation.
  • Kallen recognized that Molindi was baiting them and decided to abandon Neo rather than descend, while Kangna assured the group that Molindi would not kill an Order Follower.
  • Molindi realized Neo was not Kallen and grew less inclined to kill him, but Neo told her he would have concealed his intentions and risen through the church before overthrowing it.
  • Neo declared that he was a renegade of Order like Molindi.

Ch. 638The empty coffin

Neo weakened Molindi with a suicidal light-powered attack, but Kallen arrived before she could kill him. As Kallen faced Molindi and Regiment Commander Daan, Kangna chose to join him and fused with him into the Dragon God Armor, leaving the fight about to begin.

  • Neo channeled light through Molindi's Heart Tendrils and detonated the undead aura stored in her enormous heart, badly injuring himself and Molindi.
  • Molindi survived the blast and tried to kill Neo, but Kallen blocked her black lightning with the Diamans Sword and revealed that he had come down before the explosion.
  • Molindi summoned Regiment Commander Daan from her shriveled heart as Kallen prepared to fight her.
  • Kangna ran to Kallen and embraced him, then bit his shoulder and fused with him to form the Dragon God Armor.
  • Molindi apologized that the explosion had destroyed the temporary stone coffin she had carved for Kallen, and Kallen replied that he had plenty of empty coffins at home.

Ch. 639I'm not stupid

Kallen fought Regiment Commander Daan and was struck by Molindi’s attack, which bypassed the Dragon God Armor and left him apparently dying. Molindi revealed that she had only approached because she thought he was dead, but Neo’s repeated feigned deaths had made her suspicious; Kallen got back up and asked how she had known.

  • Alfred counted Molindi as a potential addition to the young master’s coffins and ordered the others to wait for his signal before joining the fight.
  • Regiment Commander Daan used escalating, environmentally reinforced sword strikes to overwhelm Kallen, who completed an Isolation formation and caused the summon’s body to rupture.
  • Daan’s damaged body grappled Kallen while Molindi’s reserved red-haired summon fired a beam that bypassed the Dragon God Armor and appeared to strike Kallen lethally.
  • Alfred refused to let Philomina and the others intervene, warning that Molindi might still have summons waiting in ambush.
  • Molindi retreated as Kallen appeared to succumb to red flames, then admitted she had believed he was dying but had grown wary after Neo fooled her with the same trick.
  • Kallen stood up, revealed that his body had survived the attack, and asked Molindi how she had recognized the ruse.

Ch. 640God, I have sinned!

Kallen and his allies fought Molindi, who revealed that she had hidden her real body inside her heart and used a powerful summoned creature resembling High Priest Norton. After Molindi cast a life-sacrificing Forbidden Spell to seal Kallen, the shadow of Lord Tyranus began undoing it and confessed, “God, I have sinned.”

  • Kallen and the Little Bone Dragon battled Molindi’s summoned creatures while Kallen prepared a spell and Philomina, Ventura, and Alfred attacked.
  • Molindi’s apparent body defeated Philomina, Ventura, and Alfred, but Kallen discovered that it was a summoned creature and that the real Molindi had been hidden inside her heart.
  • Molindi revealed that her strongest summoned creature took High Priest Norton’s form and explained that its power lasted only one minute.
  • Kallen spared Molindi because she had left his injured allies alive, but Molindi activated a trap and cast the life-sacrificing Forbidden Spell, Tyranus’s Seal.
  • As the seal began to imprison Kallen, the shadow of Lord Tyranus knelt and began undoing the spell, while a voice confessed, “God, I have sinned.”
