Xia Xiu stood outside, a little notebook in his hand. Whistling cheerfully, he made a show of writing in it with a fountain pen.

1589.3.10, light rain.
It rains all the time in Three Portlands. I've already watched a whole month of the rainy season. Even someone who loves rainy days would get sick of this!
I even wrote to city hall about it, asking the city council to adjust the [Firmament Device] in Muji and Lifenel's names. Hopefully they'll take my suggestion. Oh, of course I know the rain is a side effect of thaumaturgic backlash. I just want to see what a sunny day looks like.
As for why I didn't use my own name, heh...
Back on topic, today is my fourth day feeding the dog.
Yesterday, I deliberately left an opening for the dog, making him think he'd gotten me.
He was absolutely delighted. He didn't leave a single scrap of the dog food I'd deliberately spilled inside his cage. He had such a wonderful time eating it.
The dog just can't be honest with himself. He clearly loves Deer College's premium dog food, yet he insists on acting like a disdainful tsundere.
Man, even dogs aren't cute these days. Tsunderes went out of style ages ago.
