The inn.
The carriage drove straight to the inn before Shen Ye leisurely stepped out.
"Get some rest. Come find me at the troupe tomorrow."
Lady Daisy's voice came from inside the carriage.
"Yes," Shen Ye replied.
Lily sat beside Lady Daisy and smiled at him.
"Baxter, I look forward to rehearsing with you tomorrow." She waved at Shen Ye.
"See you tomorrow, Lily." Shen Ye lowered the carriage curtain.
Only then did the carriage slowly drive away.
Shen Ye walked into the inn, slowly went upstairs, and reached his room.
He took out his room card and swiped it across the door, which opened with a click.
A strong stench of body odor wafted out of the room.
It was the smell of an orc!

By now, Shen Ye had worked things out.

"This is the Count's will-after all, I'm incredibly weak, and the Count intends to protect me."
Kevin, the living corpse, stared at the Emblem on his hand, stunned and momentarily unable to process it.
But a deep, muffled voice came from inside the room:
"Honored Baxter, please forgive our unannounced visit."
