But several people on the eleventh floor were playing mahjong.
One was just about to win.
He kept calling out as he ran.
They immediately grew restless.
The staff member on duty was panting, but he did not dare stop.
"What are you making such a fuss about?"
They looked toward the stairs.
They immediately shut the door to the eleventh floor.
Better someone else died than them.
At last, he gave up trying to push the door open.
He no longer dared shout.
There were also a dozen or so people idly occupied with their own activities.
Only four steps remained.
They also saw the zombies packed behind the staff member.
The man who was about to use the bathroom shouted.
They gathered at the doorway.
The door to the twelfth floor was closed too.
So all the dirty, exhausting work had been left to him.
Anger surged within him.
He headed straight for the top floor.
These people could actually do such a thing in broad daylight.
But now they had even shut the door on him.
He wanted to cry, but had no tears left.
The zombies could not care less about his regrets.
The staff member closed his eyes in despair.
They tore him apart and ate him.
There was no more sound.
It seemed the whole city could hear it.
But he could not push it open at all.
They wandered downstairs toward the blaring horn.
Then they receded like a tide.
Behind the Lotus Commercial Building, Li Yu and the others felt deeply frustrated.
Now, watching the zombies pour out one after another,
a cold glint flashed in his eyes.
Li Tie asked.
The zombies had gradually all left.
They spotted the horn the zombies had trampled and broken.
He charged up with a gun in his hands and a blade on his back.
The four followed close behind.
The four nodded.
They searched floor by floor.
But those, too, were dealt with one by one.
They saw the closed door.
Only the door to the eleventh floor was shut.
He had a pretty good idea of what had happened.
Two screams came from behind the door.
Now the sturdy wooden door seemed as flimsy as paper.
He kicked it.
He saw Horse Face and the others in a panic.
Several people fell in pools of blood.
They went upstairs.
They could not figure out what was happening.
They even felt a little relieved to have survived.
The door was suddenly pushed.
He saw Li Yu's face, wearing a faint, ambiguous smile.
He toppled backward.
Li Yu took the opportunity to push the door open.
The four behind him rushed in as well.
Several shirtless men came down from upstairs.
They suddenly spotted Li Yu and the other three inside.
Especially when they saw that all four were holding guns.
They tried to back away.
"You can call me Xiao Zhou, too. I'm pretty scared. Haha." His voice was full of flattery.
He gave Li Tie and Li Gang a meaningful look.
He walked straight toward the stairwell. No one would be allowed to escape.
He figured there should still be people upstairs.
He had them stand with the people from the twelfth floor.
Then he went up to the rooftop with Zhang Tianlong to take a look.
He had seen far too many similarly depraved acts.
He radiated murderous intent.
