Xu Le found the gravely wounded Dragon gnawing on Lighthouse’s Soul Torch and used Yellow Springs Souls to restore its clarity. Dragon recognized him and began explaining how the Mother Tree had guided his growth, leaving Xu Le to hear what else Dragon had been waiting to tell him.

• Night Fiend defended the dead Puppet and told Black Sheep that Xu Le would pierce the darkness with clarity and decisiveness.
• Xu Le arrived at Lighthouse and found Dragon badly injured, confused, and eating the Soul Torch to try to recover its mind.
• Xu Le restrained Dragon with Fate Entanglement and the Soul Devouring Tree, then poured souls from the Soul River into its body.
• Dragon regained enough clarity to speak, told Xu Le it had been waiting for him, and said his advancement had been slow for a Child of Guyinduo.
• Dragon explained that it had suppressed its urge to force Xu Le’s growth out of reverence for the Mother Tree and revealed that the Mother Tree’s plan had enabled Xu Le to obtain Lightforging.

Xu Le mourned Dragon, learned that the Red Moon Lord had defeated it, and set out to find Gangshi. He tracked Gangshi to a deep underground cavern, where Gangshi sensed the ground tremble as Xu Le approached.

• Dragon told Xu Le that the Red Moon Lord had overwhelmed its power, then died before it could explain more about their battle.
• Xu Le placed a Chaos Flower on Dragon’s body, encased the corpse in Soul Torch, and left to pursue Gangshi.
• Xu Le entered the Red Moon Holy Temple, shattered Gangshi’s abandoned arm, and used its spirit energy traces to locate Gangshi underground.
• Red Hall Meilis arrived at the temple, heard a description of Xu Le, and suspected he had been the intruder.
• Gangshi reinforced its underground cavern against what it thought was an earthquake, unaware that Xu Le was closing in.

Xu Le defeated Gangshi with the Fading Fire and Reincarnation Tribulation Realm, absorbing its body and Rule of Firmness. He then headed toward the Red Moon Holy Temple to seek Rose, while the Temple’s leaders argued with Zion after Rose escaped their battle.

• Gangshi mistook the shaking cavern for an earthquake, but Xu Le broke in and immediately attacked it with the Soul Devouring Tree and Chaos Fog.
• Xu Le weakened Gangshi’s Rule of Firmness with the Fading Fire, then used Reincarnation Tribulation Realm to consume Gangshi’s body, soul, and Rules.
• Xu Le gained Gangshi’s Firmness and decided to search for Rose through the Red Moon Holy Temple, where he hoped to meet Li Wen and the others.
• At the Red Moon Holy Temple, Rose’s escape after killing three Full Moon Angels and driving back the Full Moon God left witnesses worried about future Black Tides.
• The higher-ups of the Red Moon Holy Temple argued with Zion.

Li Wen rejected the Red Moon Holy Temple’s demand to take control of Heavenly Punishment and asked its leaders to state their positions. Black Crow and Meilis opposed Bai Ya’s proposal, and the meeting turned tense when an elder tried to intervene before Xu Le’s voice rang out.

• A Red Moon Holy Temple elder and another warlock argued that Zion should hand over Heavenly Punishment, and Bai Ya supported their demand in the name of humanity’s future.
• Li Wen asked whether the temple leaders shared the proposal, and Bai Ya explained that Heavenly Punishment could let legendary warlocks threaten the Children of Guyinduo.
• Black Crow opposed coercing Zion, citing Xu Le’s life-saving help, and Meilis also rejected Bai Ya’s approach while warning that the Red Moon Holy Temple could not match Zion’s use of paranormal technology.
• The elder accused Black Crow and Meilis of failing to put the Red Moon first and stepped toward Li Wen as Zion’s guards closed around him.
• The elder was suddenly lifted off the ground, and Xu Le’s voice said he would send the old man on his way.

Xu Le confronted the Red Moon Holy Temple over its coercion of Zion, killing two Warlocks and revealing that he and Chi Xiao had reached Level 8. He spared Bai Ya after Li Wen advised seeking compensation instead, and the chapter ended as Xu Le began discussing what the Temple owed Zion.

• Xu Le killed an elder with the Chaos Fog, then disintegrated Fang Da when he challenged him.
• Xu Le told Bai Ya that he had reached Level 8 and revealed that Chi Xiao had advanced first.
• Xu Le demanded that Bai Ya answer for the Red Moon Holy Temple's coercion of Zion, and she accepted responsibility as the undertaking's leader.

Xu Le forced the Red Moon Holy Temple to accept Zion’s harsh treaty, then demanded intelligence about Spider Queen Rose. He confirmed to Li Wen that he had reached Level 8 and was leaving to confront the Children of Guyinduo.

• Xu Le demanded the Red Moon Holy Temple surrender its original archives to Zion, open its schools and territory to Zionites, and share intelligence; when a warlock rejected the terms, Xu Le killed him.
• Bai Ya accepted the treaty and urged the Red Moon Holy Temple’s warlocks to cooperate, while Li Wen agreed to organize Zion’s handover.
• Xu Le asked Bai Ya to gather any evidence or intelligence about Spider Queen Rose, and Meilis reminded Bai Ya of the mysterious figure seen near the Gangshi arm.

Xu Le sought Li Wen’s guidance about facing former allies, then chose to bring light and departed to confront Spider Queen Rose. He reached Rose’s tower and cut down its defenders, beginning his assault.

• Xu Le asked Li Wen how to make a difficult choice, and Li Wen urged him to choose light rather than favoring those close to him.
• Bai Ya gave Xu Le intelligence about Spider Queen Rose, and Xu Le left through a Space Rift despite Bai Ya offering the Red Moon Holy Temple’s military support.
• Bai Ya reflected that Cangming, Chi Xiao, and Xu Le could usher in a new era, though none supported the Red Moon Holy Temple.
• Xu Le arrived before Rose’s tower in an unknown Otherworldly Space and corroded its entrance barrier with the Power of Chaos.
• Rose invited Xu Le to climb the tower, and he killed the Drowsy Ones and the other creatures on the first floor with his Black Sword.

Xu Le reached Rose in the High Tower and learned that she was willing to surrender her rule rather than fight him. Rose revealed her wounded true body and warned that the Red Moon Lord was consuming the Children of Guyinduo’s powers to become a perfect being.

• Xu Le slaughtered the High Tower’s inhabitants and confronted Rose, who offered to hand over her rule in exchange for her life.
• Rose explained that she wanted to see a living blue sea and trusted Xu Le because Night Fiend had chosen him.
• Xu Le refused Rose’s offer to mingle their souls and bodies, and she showed him a hidden chamber containing her true body.
• Xu Le realized that the Red Moon Lord, not Full Moon, had inflicted Rose’s wounds, and Rose confirmed that he had used Dragon’s power of the sky.
• Rose told Xu Le that the Red Moon Lord was devouring Guyinduo powers to become a more perfect being.

Xu Le absorbed Rose’s body and rules, then restored her with Spirit Energy and left to confront the Red Moon Lord. He found High Heaven’s Heroic Spirit cemetery desecrated and destroyed its remains before attacking the Level 9 Red Moon, whose reason appeared to have collapsed.

• Xu Le used the Soul Devouring Tree and Reincarnation to absorb Rose’s true body and transform her rules into Desire.
• Xu Le gave Rose powerful Spirit Energy and agreed to leave the dead from the Black Tide War unavenged; Rose thanked him and departed.
• Xu Le reached Red Moon High Heaven, found the Heroic Spirit cemetery dug up and destroyed, and reduced the cemetery and Red Moon Sanctuary to ashes.

Xu Le fought Red Moon, whose flesh and rule-based powers weakened his body and mind, and discovered that Red Moon was a living creature beneath the moon in the sky. Xu Le used the Power of Reincarnation to rot Red Moon’s flesh, but as he pursued him, Red Moon hinted that Xu Le had overlooked something.

• Red Moon emerged from the tumor with a monstrous body, and Xu Le summoned Gangshi before striking him with the Black Sword, which barely pierced his flesh.
• Red Moon’s flesh regenerated while Miwang’s power and Full Moon’s influence made Xu Le lose focus, grow dizzy, and struggle to use Chaos Shuttle.
• Red Moon broke Xu Le’s spine, but the Substitute Life Technique saved him, and Xu Le countered by unleashing the Soul Devouring Tree.
• Xu Le used Fading Fire to suppress Red Moon’s regeneration and cut through his flesh, then realized the Red Moon in the sky was alive and served as Red Moon’s true body.

Xu Le became a Light Tree to restore daylight, and Chi Xiao later became the sun; ten years afterward, Ai Li was making prosthetic limbs for Xu Le.

• Xu Le used the Soul Furnace and wronged souls to destroy Red Moon’s body, but Red Moon survived, stripped Xu Le’s senses, and fought him until Chi Xiao helped trap him in the Soul Devouring Tree’s flames and reincarnation.
• After waking three days later, Xu Le went to Night Fiend, who revealed her name was Bai Ye and entrusted him with the Heart of Darkness before leaving for the Void.
• Xu Le transformed the Soul Devouring Tree into a Light Tree, restoring daylight, while Ai Li and Ding Ke wondered whether he would return.
• A year later, Chi Xiao found the Gundo Mother Tree and became the sun, leaving Xu Le to return to his loved ones.
• Ten years later, two young girls watched Ai Li make a prosthetic limb for Xu Le.
