Shinobi beasts in the Shinobi World can generally be divided into two types: organized and wild.
For example, Mount Myōboku is an organization so vast that other shinobi beasts can only look up to it. The toads of Mount Myōboku also form contracts with ninjas, but they possess extremely flexible autonomy.
This was treatment that wild shinobi beasts could never enjoy.
Of the several thousand ninja cats in the Land of Cats, only a small portion would form contracts with ninjas. Although the Land of Cats could not compare with Mount Myōboku, becoming a Summoned Beast there likewise came with the enjoyment of autonomy. Some did it to make a living, while others did it for their ideals.
Jiapan was a young female cat, a Ragdoll cat, working hard for her ideals.
Then her first attempt to form a contract failed. An odor that cats hated wafted through the summoning channel. This dealt the cat a heavy blow, but soon, Uchiha Ukyo flew over despite the risk of being severely berated by King Cat Matata and explained things to her.
Because of Ukyo's words, she was willing to wait for Retsuo for a while.
